As we announced in the our previous eblast, Bob Hanscom passed away peacefully on May 31st at the age of 86. The greater squash community treasures his enormous impact on the sport, recapped in US Squash Magazine and SquashMAD. Known as the “godfather of squash in Los Angeles,” Bob did more than anyone to grow the game of squash in Southern California. Named one of Squash Magazine’s Top Fifty Most Intriguing and Influential People of 2016, Bob led a remarkable life and career, and his legacy will endure.
