Southern California Celebrates Another Successful Squash League Finals Weekend

The annual SoCal League Finals, held on December 2-3, concluded the Junior League tournaments for the season. It was a showcase of talent, sportsmanship, and community spirit. The Access Youth Academy Team, featuring standout players Nathan C, Haymi, Mendias, Thu, and Christian J, emerged victorious, highlighting their dominance.

In individual competitions, Nathan C achieved a commendable second place in the B1 division after intense matches, while Marshall G won the title without dropping a set. Hermela secured third place in the same division. In the B2 division, Ivanna displayed remarkable resilience, winning first place after a comeback victory against Hanna. Eldana also made a notable comeback to secure third place.

This weekend was not just about the matches; it was a celebration of growth, confidence, and the thriving Southern California squash community. We look forward to more exciting weekends like this as we continue to foster talent and sportsmanship in the region.
